West Campus Development Trust’s University District Welcomes The Gramercy by Gracorp Properties

UNIVERSITY DISTRICT’S FIRST CONCRETE MIXED-USED RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION OFFERS DISTINCT NEW YORK STYLE

 

Calgary, AB – February 26, 2020 – West Campus Development Trust (the Trust) and Gracorp Properties are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of The Gramercy, the first concrete condominium offering at University District in Calgary’s northwest.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of New York City, The Gramercy’s show suite will officially open at University District’s Discovery Centre (4410 University Ave. N.W) on Saturday, March 7 from noon to 5 p.m.  and will include a hands-on concrete art installation.

Once complete, The Gramercy will offer 83 units across five floors of residential living over a main floor retail platform, with one-bedroom suites ranging from 540 to 620 square feet, and two-bedroom suites ranging from 785 to 1,140 square feet. Unit prices will start in the $300s.

The Gramercy will be a concrete structure with full brick masonry, giving it a sense of timeless New York style. Building amenities will include two high-speed elevators, a secure parcel delivery room and rooftop terrace including BBQs, firepits, outdoor dining areas and a community garden. Further, residents can enjoy use of a sixth-floor fitness studio and indoor lounge, the security and convenience of underground parking, electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle storage. The entire building is Built Green® Gold in the LEED-ND Platinum certified community of University District.

As part of the launch, The Gramercy will be hosting a contest giving show suite visitors the chance to win a trip to New York City. Contest entries will be accepted in person at The Gramercy show suite inside the University District Discovery Centre until March 30, 2020. The prize will include round trip airfare for two to New York City, three nights’ accommodation and a $500 Visa Gift Card. The draw will take place on April 1, 2020.
